We are monitoring the impact of the COVID-19 virus. Our office is currently open to make sure our patients do not have dental problems that affect their overall health which includes preventative maintenance. Our patients and employees are our utmost concern and responsibility. We are taking multiple steps to continue the highest safeguards in our infection control. Dental offices follow strict OSHA and CDC guidelines of Universal Precautions. This means that we treat every patient who walks through our doors as if he or she could have Hepatitis C, the most contagious disease. Our office uses EPA-approved disinfectants that kill viruses, bacteria, and other bloodborne pathogens. We adhere to the CDC’s hygiene recommendations of washing our hands thoroughly during treatment and between patients. We use personal protective equipment including masks, gloves, protective eyewear, and gowns that ensure hygienic protection. We sterilize our instruments and handpieces in high pressure equipment that kills viruses and bacteria.
For the safety of our team and patients, we ask if you are ill, have travelled overseas, or been in close proximity with someone who has tested positive to COVID-19 virus that we reschedule your dental appointment.
We also request that you follow the CDC’s recommendations during this stressful time:
We care about each of you.
Most sincerely yours,
Dr. Chip and Karri Edwards
